Abstract(RBIP-239)

The main objective of this study is to emphasize that quality management (TQM) is one of the main pillar for the success of any pharmaceutical industry. TQM is a management philosophy which integrates marketing, finance, design, engineering, production and customer service, to ultimately deliver the desired quality, safety and efficacy of any product from pilot plant to bulk manufacturing. The various responsibilities and functions of employees regarding participation in the improvement process that any organization need for quality system and quality culture are also framed. This study is based upon providing the knowledge regarding the pros and cons of TQM and its need for pharmaceutical industry.
