NECESSITY OF ADVANCEMENT IN DRUG TECHNOLOGY.

Abstract (RBIP-88)

According to general surveys it is found that the neonates are resistant to many drugs. As we know very well that neonates have a very suppressive immune system so we cannot use our all techniques on then. Neonates are resistant to drug may be because of environmental factor or may be because of hereditary factors. We can overcome the environmental debtor by giving extra care. But it’s not easy to overcome the hereditary factors. Like all the biological systems, both disease causing organisms and their victims evolve. The disease causing organisms undergo evolution. Because of evolution changes they show resistant to many drugs. They show resistance towards many antibiotics through many ways like by spontaneous mutation in bacterium DNA, by altering the permeability of its cell membrane, by transfer of antibiotic resistant genes. And this can SPREAD by transfer of antibiotic resistant genes directly from one bacterium to another, through the movement of bacteria from one host to another. It can pass from Mother to fetus by placenta, mother's milk, etc. Hence neonates are resistant to such drugs. So there is a need to discover such type of drugs which can overcome the causes of above given emergence to antibacterial resistance and their spreading. Considering the basic process of evolution can help to understand the roots of genetic disease.
